Ireland AM is celebrating Love Irish Food tomorrow morning by dedicating the entire show to the campaign. It goes on from 07.00 to 10.00- that's a lot of talking Cul! There will be other people there from LIF such as Ballymaloe Country Relish, Silverhill Duck (the yummiest duck confit in the whole world), Celtic chocolates from Kerry and loads of others.

Ivy was over in France last week collecting our camper van from Ugo- who is helping us launch our food into lovely shops mainly in Paris. It's been a good cold winter there too- good soup weather. This pub is in Brittany- why he was in Brittany on his way back from Paris is beyond me?

The Camper is back from France so look out for it again on the Irish roads. Ivy, our chef just collected it with Ted and after a quick stop off at Char a Banc for a tasty dinner and a restful night, Mont St Michelle, for the cultural education and a wine shop for Chocolate!! they took the ferry home.

ps. Char a banc is a great little ferme auberge run by a fantastic Irish women and her French husband's family where nearly all the food is produced on the farm.

We have had a few enquires to what exactly a cup is. (That is in quantity!!). Thanks to a friend and Nigela Lawson I have an official Nigela Lawson cup in my repertoire so I've taken a photo of it for yee!! CULLY

February has been crazy busy. No matter how much you do, it always seems crazy. My computer has been in hospital for the last few weeks so I haven't been as active on the blog & forum. Isn't it just beautiful out there! We only got our first bit of snow yesterday, where I live.

This is our mad Rena who just got married (Rena really runs Cully & Sully) tobogganing in Coachford yesterday with little Eabha. They've been snowed in since before Christmas!

On another note a lady called Sarah from Cork emailed us over Christmas about a charity run to Mongolia that they are doing:

Did you know that this month is a Blue Moon month and the phrase 'once in a blue moon' comes from this? A Blue Moon month is where there are 2 full moons in the same month and it is very rare. We had one on the first of the month and we will have one on the 31st. Interesting eh?- a very nice man called Grattan told me this over the weekend.

Guess what guys, I'm in Paris in the campervan because the French heard that in Ireland we make the best soup and they want a bit of the action!! (there has to be some advantages to having a miserable climate!!). So if your over here... and a bit peckish, don't worry, you'll find us in Galerie laffitte, La Grande Epicerie De Paris and good Monoprix's. As you can see from the photo it's not exactly sunshine over here either.
