Made this one a few days ago and it's delicious, I'm not big on measuring but I'll try to be as accurate as possible.
1 bag of cranberries (about enough to fill a 2 pint jug)
1-11/2 pints of water
cup of sugar
half a cup of cointreau or grand marnier
boil up the water and pop the cranberries in, let them simmer for a few minutes, through in the sugar and stir it up then add the booze and simmer for 10 minutes or so. Stir every now and again, squishing the berries to the side of the pot. Have a taste (careful, it's hot!) and add extra liqueur/sugar depending on your own taste).
Let it cool for a bit and either mash up a little bit with a spoon or buzz with a hand blender for a few seconds.
Once cooled transfer to jam jars or any container and refrigerate.
It's a really simple recipe but you could add orange peel or mixed spice, vanilla, whatever you fancy really.

I've never made cranberry sauce. Mum always has it- perhaps this year. It looks really simple and delicious. I was a bit cranberried out of it over the summer as I had an infection, where you don't want infections and I was told to drink lots of Cranberry juice. It did help- it lowers your bloods ph apparently.
I spread it on a bit of Brie today, brilliant.
I think I misjudged the water amount in the recipe, probably more like 2 pints went in, sorry!
Sully--cranberry sauce couldn't be easier to make and delicious. I make it without any booze and it's equally delicious although someone recommended a drop of vodka to me recently in the sauce so might try that this year.
