Ingredients:
750g Macaroni
800g thinly sliced Diced Beef
Red & yellow peppers
Medium onion
Sliced Mushrooms
2 cloves garlic
Mustard 1/2 teaspoon
Philadelphia cream cheese 2 tablespoons
Mature Cheddar cheese grated 2-3 oz's
Parmesan Cheese
Beef Stock cube
Oregano, Basil, Thyme & Rosemary
Black pepper, Salt, butter
Hearty meal on a cold day
Finely Slice the beef, onions, mushrooms & Peppers. Crush garlic.
Fry off Steak in olive oil till tender, drain of once cooked and add half cup Beef stock (Oxo or Knorr) then add Sliced onion, red & yellow peppers, mushrooms & crushed garlic cloves add a pinch of black pepper, thyme & rosemary. Simmer for 15 mins.
Cook Macaroni as per instructions on packet, while beef is simmering.
Drain Macaroni once cooked stir in a teaspoon butter, add half teaspoon of Mustard, Philadelphia cheese and grated cheddar cheese with a pinch of oregano & basil.
Stir on a low heat 'till cheese melts.
Serve pasta on the plate with Beef on top, sprinkle with parmesan cheese & black pepper to taste.
To spice things up, add chilli's to the Beef for a bit of zing during cooking.
The above amounts feed 5 to 7 adults, adjust to suit your needs, but don't cut back on the taste.
