Have you considered giving money-off coupons out in colleges? It would be a great way to introduce students to the range. People would be inclined to get the first one then there's no turning back!
We're going to be part of the Love Irish Food Campaign, which will be announced on Monday next (Aug 31st) and as part of this all the truly Irish brands (ie actually manufactured in Ireland from Irish ingredients) will be doing coupons. So Tayto, Batchelors, Ballymaloe Relish, Millevan Honey and others will be participating.
Hi Sully,
Sorry about the late late reply, I'm bogged down at college . I'm in C.I.T, the college where there is no nice food! The local shops (Centra and Dunnes) stock your products which is great. There's a microwave in college so if more students were made aware of it they could bring in your products and cook them there instead of eating canteen stodge
Lily- you're totally right. I will get something working here. My to do list is pages long. My girlfriend works in UCD and she is constantly telling me the same thing. So many students tell us they love our food but can't get it on campus.
We did tender for a university contract recently but it's next to impossible for us to be cheaper than the big contract caterers who just produce cheap food so that they can make their margins- but they will say soup is soup. IT'S NOT!!
If you need a hand with anything here let me know. I've already been talking about it and everyone thinks it's a good idea . We're all so sick of being forced to eat the awful canteen food on 10 hour college days then feeling yuck afterwards! We don't have time to make and bring in our own food every day unfortunately. Students need real food, not sluggish feeling inducing filler. But cost wise I don't think people mind paying a little more for good food.
Hello Nom Nom - thats cool. We have discussed the facebook thing and we reckon as have enough with this website. Its just the 2 of us. Facebook definitely does seem to be th way forward and maybe if we could have one that updated automatically from this one or something then that would be cool.

Which college are you in?
Thanks a mill

Okedokey - we'll get this sorted.
What an excellent deal in UCD Centra at the minute on your hot pots, going to stock up later
beats rolls for lunch anyday!
Oh and if ye want to target students perhaps ye could set up a facebook page for cully&sully as the majority of students are on it..
