Hey Ylime- yes that is

Hey Ylime- yes that is something we've looked at- we were going to make it with rosemary and thyme and parsley and there's one other herb which is escaping me? It's all to do with the song Scarborough Fair. The thing about it is that it wasn't huuuuugely different to our white winter vegetable soup. Have you tasted the WWV soup? I'd be really interested to know what you think even if you think its disgusting! The recipe varies hugely during the year as the parsnips, celeriac etc just vary a lot. At the moment it is excellent - if I may say so myself Big smile Big smile . I'd be interested to know. Thanks Ylime. Sully Love

winter vegetable soup

I had your winter vegetable soup today when I got back from exhausting shopping trip. It was delicious. Maybe a bit heavy on the cream and butter, I think I've had my lot for the week. Maybe had a leaf of sage and or savory?

Had the fish pie tonight with my own lettuce/beetroot and ratatouille.
Very good. I need to try it again with less distracting accompaniments.

I'm having your chicken pie tomorrow night. It's my week off!

Do you do any pastry topped pies?

Good luck. Ann (cant figure passwords and usernames, too old)

That's very interesting.

That's very interesting. Most people who I come across who have an issue with herbs tend to most dislike coriander but I've never ever come across someone who doesn't like rosemary. That's one for my books. Thanks a mil. Sully Smile Smile Smile

I think it's cause my mom

I think it's cause my mom just to go overboard sticking it in the lamb at easter. I love the smell of it but can't stand the taste. I am a very strange one. There isn't a lot of things I don't like herb wise except rosemary, chives and parsley.

Leek and Potato!!

I have to totally agree on the need for a lovely leek and potato soup! It is by far my favourite soup of all time, just unfortunate that my favourite brand of soups (being you guys!) don't have one on offer! Have tried the White Winter Veg, it's nice, but in my opinion no substitute for a good old fashioned bowl of leek and potato. The White Winter Veg is a bit too thick for my liking...

But keep up the good work...your delicious soups keep me going all day in work! Smile
