Last week was the third week of St. Brigid's Cookery Club which has been generously sponsored by Cully and Sully. Two of our members wrote the following:
Last week we made beetroot brownies and fruit kebabs. We made beetroot brownies instead of regular brownies because the school garden club had offered us the beetroot. They were okay.
We will soon make normal brownies.
To make the fruit kebabs, we put different fruit on cocktail sticks like grapes, bananas and oranges. We liked them more than the brownies.
Next week we will be making bread and fruit salad. See you soon.

Beetroot brownies - WEIRD! I adore beetroot and I adore brownies so maybe.... Naaa. Don't like the sound of those. Don't mess with the chocolate. Fruit kebabs- now that's a very good idea. Innocent should do something here.
