rsz_cs_irishtimes_280408_2.jpgHello,

Conor Pope in the Irish Times reviewed our soups against the compettion last week and here are the results- what do you think?

 Hi guys,

I would rarely buy soup as those I have tried in the past I found the quality to be poor.  I often make it at home and like the real thing!  Recently my husband has bought me a few of your soups.  This was his attempt to encourage me to squeeze in lunch into my busy day.  I must say I thoroughly enjoy them especially the tomato & mushroom flavours.

I think this is my first time emailing my thoughts on a product to a manufacturer.  Anyway I just wanted to say keep up the good work, the products are wholesome and flavoursome.  I’ll be buying more!

Cheers,

Rosie

THANK YOU SO SO MUCH ROSIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

…and while Sully was busy making himself look like a leprachaun, He got Ivan and I to finish his dirty work… Yes last year for charity he very kindly offered the prize of Cully & Sully to come to your house and cook you dinner as a prize at the Lord Mayors Ball, for various different charities. Then he scarpered off as soon as the day to cook arrived.

I reckon we had more fun without him!!

Here ar a few shots of the night and the recipes are up on the recipe page.

We received another really nice email today from Dave- see below, asking us for a vegetarian pie. We will be launching a vegetarian pie soon and have tried in the past to do something. We got quite far with the recipe and this was what it looked like. Perhaps in the future we will make it work:

 Hi guys,

Love your soup… lots.

Would also really love a vegetarian pie! Any chance of this in the near future… it must be possible!!!

Keep it up,
Dave

Dear Cully and Sully,

I have just eaten one of your atlantic salmon in sorrel sauce, and felt obliged to email you to tell you it was FANTASTIC!! So healthy and flavoursome!! I Never buy ready made meals, (normally make everything from scratch myself, My thai curries are dynamite) but I will most definately be buying yours, all of the time, in the future!!

Please make multiple sized packs/ family size, say for 6 or so, so I can fool my friends, into believing I have cooked salmon in sorrell sauce myself!! Also please make a nice thai massaman or yellow thai curry…. mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Thanks for the yum bum healthy natural food, keep it coming,

xx joanne

After many months of driving Toby and Shane mad (these men help us with our IT’y stuff) I’m now able to upload photos and stuff onto the website which is going to keep well occupied. If you have any cool photo’s, such as Harry the Dog below please email them to me at sully@cullyandsully.com. This photo is of Cul, Elaine and Grandad- who wrote brilliant emails to us and has an awesome blog which is hilarious. I’m not great on the blogging front but am going to make an appearance soon in reference to a recent Yoga/Vegan retreat which I went on and I am now blaming for all things wrong with me- but I’m going to tackle that in the blog.

Harry and the garlic

Hello there,

We received this lovely email & photo today from Rosina in Knocknacara in Galway. She was wondering (like the rest of the country are wondering!) what to do with our bowls. This will all be revealed…….

Hi Guys!
Myself and my boyfriend are BIG fans of your soups and pies. It is really nice to know that we can just nip across to our local supermarket Joyces (no relation, unfortunatly) and pick some honest to goodness food. And very tasty food at that.
We re-use the soup containers for freezing other dinners that we make and for containing different bits and pieces ( and also use them for our dog’s water bowl).

But we are not really sure what to do with the pie dishes. Yes, I suppose I could use them to make my own pies, but I like to use a bigger container. What is the best way to recycle or reuse these containers? Can they go in the green recycling bin?

Best wishes and keep up the good work.

Rosina & Pat….and Harry the dog.
