Thompson grew up in Ballymaloe where good food is considered
an essential prerequisite for a healthy life. She studied
nutrition at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London.
On returning to Ireland she worked in a Health Food Store.
Since then she has had a baby boy. This has made her very
aware of peoples concerns about their diet and nutrition
at ground level. She also has an excellent knowledge on
supplements and how and where they may be of benefit.
